The Majestic Ball
Every June ballroom makes its way from the club to the stage of the historic Paramount Theatre for the biggest ball in Texas!
Tens Across The Board!
This annual spectacle transforms our space with lavish themed décor, engaging activations from community partners, and a dynamic atmosphere that immerses the attendees in ballroom culture. The night features a thrilling drag variety show and ballroom competition, where participants strut their stuff for the chance to win cash prizes. Since its inception, the Majestic Ball has awarded winners over $10,000 in cash!
A Majestic History
Ryan Thompson and Sawyer Stotlz, members of the ATA team, founded the Majestic Ball with the aim of creating a dedicated space for queer individuals, especially focusing on queer people of color. The Majestic Ball is produced by QTPOC, features contract artists who identify as QTPOC, and provides a platform for community partners that support these communities.
In the week leading up to the Majestic Ball, the Paramount Theatre shows a week of queer film screenings in partnership with queer-serving organizations. Past films include MOONLIGHT, PARIS IS BURNING, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, and DESERT HEARTS.

Our Majestic Ball is graced by an electrifying, unforgettable Diamond Dior Davenport performance. Over the past three years, Diamond has captivated the audience with tour-worthy acts, channeling iconic divas like Beyoncé, Ciara, and Gladys Knight. You never know what she’ll do next!

CASH PRIZES
Each ball has categories themed to the evening. Attendees are invited to compete on the historic Paramount stage where they will be scored on their outfits, attitudes, voguing skills, runway walk and more. A panel of judges will score participants in each category with participants aiming to earn perfect 10’s across the board and become the champion, thus winning the grand cash prize!
Cash prizes put money directly into the queer community and celebrate the queer artists who work year-round to perfect their craft.
