Kandace Medina is an Austin-based stand-up comedian, best described by her dad as “funny… if I pretend she’s not my daughter.” She produces and hosts Backyard Sluts, one of Austin’s long-running shows and a fan favorite. She also hosts Banana Phone, a wildly successful weekly heckle/roast show at The Creek and The Cave that has taken the Austin comedy community by storm. This cleverly risqué, rude broad has been featured on SXSW, Skankfest, and Come and Take It Comedy Festivals. Performing in clubs all over, Kandace has worked with esteemed comedians like Sean Patton, Amy Miller, and Steph Tolev.
